Do You Want to Be Successful?
Many of my students ask me a lot of questions about funding their rehab, finding the right contractors and anything under the sun that they think is too difficult in starting their own rehabbing business.
Basically, I tell them exactly what I used to do. They learn all of my mistakes that I made in finding contractors, how I used to look for money, how I used to waste my money and so on.
The reason I go this route is because I don't want them to make the same mistakes I did. I can give you the motivation and the know how to find what the money you need or the right contractor to do the job. But, initially, you have to take the first step. You have to get your butt off the couch, turn off this computer and go out there and just DO IT!
I will teach you everything you need to know about rehabbing. What I can't do is take you by the hand from lender to lender, from contractor to contractor, from house to house. You will have to do this all on your own. What I will do - is show you exactly how to do it.
I am not giving you a bunch of no-nonsense information on how to rehab properties. I will tell you exactly how I have rehabbed over 300 properties in less than 8 years and how I have made millions doing so. I am still in the business right now! And, I'm not an attorney telling you how to do something and never actually rehabbed one property. Believe me, there are many lawyers and CPA's working hard to sell somebody about "How to" do something and have never actually filled their shoes.
There were so many reasons why I wanted to be successful. What you need to do is decide if you want to be successful and why. One of my goals in life and a reason "why" I wanted to be successful was to create millionaires. What you need to do is sit down and write some goals for yourself. Write down what you want to make in the next 12 months and then turn the paper around and write what's holding you back.
Whether you said you wanted to make an additional $1,000 per month over the next 12 months or $100,000 in the next 12 months, it doesn't matter what you wrote. Because....turn your paper around now. Did you write what's holding you back? I bet you wrote "YOU". Maybe you didn't write the words YOU - but whatever you wrote all points back to YOU in the end.
Yep, 99% of my students, stop themselves from earning the money they want to earn or what they have set their goals for. It's not finding money, it's not knowing how to begin or where to begin, it's not your husband or your wife, brother or sister, mother or father, business partner, or even your dog. It's YOU!!!
Some of you may already know what your goals are and are ready to take that next step. That's great! But for the other 99% of you who are just sitting on your butt reading articles on how to find success. The rest of us are out here doing it!
